I’m currently enrolled in the advanced sewing course at Escuela Javier Barroeta.
During the course, I’m creating day and evening dresses, tailored garments, and made-to-measure pieces. It also covers techniques in garment construction, finishing, and pattern development, allowing me to focus on the areas I am most passionate about, as well as in others that I seek to improve.

Undertook a millinery course in Bilbao, with Angel Amor. I learned hat-blocking, stiffening, and finishing techniques for both felt and natural fiber hats, as well as design and composition methods for hats and headpieces. I also learned the art of making silk flowers (both standalone and appliqué) and silk painting and dyeing.

Accomplished an online tambour embroidery course focused on haute couture embroidery methods and beadwork, taught by Saskia ter Welle. It encompassed basic techniques as well as adding volume to pieces using fabric flowers, fillings, and feathers.

Completed a three month course in luxury leather goods at the hands of Nicolas Grinda (Atelier Grinda). I learned all the basics of hand-made high-end leather goods, saddle stitching and pricking, edge creasing and finishing, and skills and techniques in bag assembly methods.

Completed a course in Haute Couture Tailoring Techniques at the Balenciaga Museum, led by Javier Martín Galán, an expert in Haute Couture techniques. This course is part of a tailoring program focused on the specific techniques used in Balenciaga’s ateliers.
I learned how to construct a checkered wool tailored jacket with a padstitched lapel and collar. The course emphasized the precision and craftsmanship involved in high-end tailoring, as well as specific techniques used for finishing of the hems, the joining of the sleeve and body, as well as for the bound buttonholes and welt pockets.

Participated in a workshop focused on understanding sleeve construction, learning how to properly place and adjust a tailored sleeve for a jacket, as well as a kimono sleeve, to ensure the perfect fit and balance, coached by Javier Martín Galán.

Completed an embroidery course at La Tecnocreativa directed by Txaro Cano.
Learned the basics of embroidery, from flat and linear stitches to more textured and volumetric designs. Gained experience in using silk ribbons, along with beadwork and tambour hook embroidery, combined with traditional thread techniques.

Participated in a workshop on bias cutting, studying through the analysis and reproduction of two Vionnet dresses, focusing on the key details of her technique, by the hand of Javier Martín Galán.

Completed all three levels of “Confección en Alta Costura” at La Tecnocreativa, an online-guided course specializing in haute couture under the guidance of Basaldúa.
Learned machine and hand sewing techniques , with a focus on haute couture construction. Gained experience in fabric planning, pattern translation, and creating bespoke pieces, including trousers and a tailored women’s jacket.

Completed all three levels of “Patronaje en plano” at La Tecnocreativa, an online-guided course specializing in haute couture under the guidance of Basaldúa.
Learned to draft base patterns and their transformations for made-to-measure patterns. Improved my skill in using pattern making tools and interpreting designs to translate them into fully realized garments.

Advanced Vocational Training Certificate in Industrial Pattern Cutting and Sewing (equivalent to a Higher National Diploma in the UK or a BTS in France).
Learned woman, children and menswear design, including creating base patterns, as well as pattern transformations and grading techniques. Gained experience in interpreting design specifications, technical sheets, and raw material documentation, and learned the basics of the Gerber patternmaking software for planning industrial garment production.
Completed a 3-month internship at a local atelier specializing in made-to-measure garments.
